March 30, 2007 – Senator Baker, along with current and former elected officials, friends, and neighbors, joined Representative Karen Boback during her Sweet Valley District Office opening. The office is located at 5315 Main Road in Sweet Valley.

March 20, 2007 – Senator Baker talks to Major General Jessica Wright following her confirmation hearing for the position of Adjutant General of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. In an unanimous decision, the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee voted to move the General's nomination to the full Senate for consideration.

Students from Wilkes University, under the direction of Dr. Tom Baldino, and from College Misericordia, under the direction of Dr. Brian Carso, visited with Senator Baker on March 20, 2007. In addition to touring the capitol to experience the governmental process first-hand, the students met with their elected representatives to discuss budgetary issues and other legislative concerns.

March 13, 2007 – Senator Baker asks questions During a Senate Community, Economic and Recreational Development Committee confirmation hearing, Senator Baker asks questions of Secretary Dennis Yablonsky, who was nominated for an additional term overseeing the Department of Community and Economic Development.

Senator Baker and her son Carson participated in a legislative bear research trip on March 9, 2007, in Renova, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Game Commission hosted the session for to gather important biological information about Pennsylvania's bear population.

March 8, 2007 - During her visit to the Devereux Center in Pike County, Senator Baker spoke to a special needs client as she packaged items for the Golf Tee Program, witnessing first-hand how Devereux programs provide opportunities for independence, confidence and personal growth.
