September 16, 2007 – Senator Baker with Steve Schweitzer, the Pennsylvania Game Commission's Northeast Regional Director, at the Deer Management Open House in Lehman, Luzerne County.  The Game Commission is holding the sessions across the Commonwealth to gather public input on its Deer Management Plan.

September 15, 2007 – Senator Baker presents the People's Choice award at the 3rd Annual Fundrive 4 a Cause, sponsored by the Wyoming Valley Cruising Cruisers. The event attracts PT Cruiser enthusiasts from across the country. Proceeds benefit the Earthly Angels Autism Fund of the Luzerne Foundation. September 9, 2007 – In recognition of Kingston's 150th Anniversary, Senator Baker participated in the Sesquicentennial Parade and attended the Summer Festival.

September 8, 2007 – The COALS program (Clean Up Our American Lands and Streams) is an important part of our efforts to clean up and prevent illegal dumping across the state.  Above Senator Baker helps in a clean up at Mehoopany Creek in Wyoming County.

September 8, 2007 – Volunteers from the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, the Department of Environmental Protection, PA Cleanways, and Wyoming County Conservation District, and other groups work to remove more than 1,000 tires from the creek.
