October 30, 2007 – Senator Baker questions leaders of PennDOT, the
Pennsylvania State Police and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency
regarding the state’s preparedness in responding to winter storms and other
emergencies at a joint public hearing of the Veterans’ Affairs and Emergency
Preparedness and Transportation committees.

October 28, 2007 – Senator Baker joins Eagle Scout Mark
Dodson of Troop 433 in Wright Township at his court of honor
ceremony. Mark's scout project provided much need clothing
and supplies to 30 homeless men. |

October 24, 2007 – Visitors from Pike and Wayne counties

October 23, 2007 - The state Senate unanimously confirmed
Attorney Ray Hamill's nomination to serve as Judge of the

October 23, 2007 - Nina Fleegle,
eleventh grade student at Wallenpaupack Area High School
and 2007 Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association
poster challenge contestant, displays her award-winning
entry for Senator Baker and her mom Dawn, while in
Harrisburg. Nina's poster came in first, beating out
nearly 200 other entries from across the state. |

October 19, 2007 – Senator Baker gets ready to tour the
Tall Timber Tree Farm in Wayne County. Above she joins, from

October 17, 2007 – As ambassadors for
the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and
Technology) program, Tunkhannock Area High School students
recently displayed their robot, the Claw IX, at the state
capitol in Harrisburg. Known as the Tigertron's, this group
of talented students works with teachers, engineers,
machinists and other adult mentors to build robots and
participate in robotics competitions. Above, Tigertron
