May 14, 2008 – Senator Baker attended the dedication and unveiling of the First Lieutenant Michael J. Cleary Memorial Field at Dallas High School.  Lieutenant Cleary, a 1999 graduate of the school, was killed in December 2005 while serving in Iraq.  During his time at Dallas High School, Lieutenant Cleary was captain of both the soccer and tennis teams.  The newly dedicated field will honor his outstanding service and sacrifice for the United States of America.
